ELEPHANT BOYS BOATING STORE
A longtime co-owner of White Elephant Surplus Stores left the well-known family toy and sporting-goods retail business to launch a new store that will sell boats and boating accessories. Ed Conley, who managed White Elephant’s store in Spokane Valley and owned the two-store chain with two brothers, has left that business to open the new marine store, called Elephant Boys. The new venture is located at 14811 E. Sprague. “We have the only TRUE discount Boating Store, largest inside show room and full-service marina,” says Ed Conley. Elephant Boys sells Lowe, North River, and RH boat brands. The new venture also carries all your boating needs plus Old Town Canoes, Ocean Kayaks, and sells and services Evinrude, Tohatsu, Nissan and Mercury outboard motors. The Elephant Boys has a boat service and maintenance department with a certified boat-motor mechanics on staff. “We have anything you would find in a marina-style business—boats, motors, trailers, and accessories. Elephant Boys now has a Fishing and Camping Store located on the same property. Many of the employees at Elephant Boys are family members. “It’s still a family business, “We’re just our own branch of the family tree." We invite you to stop by and shop our Family Stores this Season. |
