North River Boats is particularly well positioned to serve our customers, based on several recent developments. In February 2013, the company completed the purchase of a large manufacturing facility in Roseburg, Oregon. This enabled the company to consolidate four manufacturing locations into a single efficient location and to substantially increase its manufacturing capacity. All North River production now takes place on one site for the first time in the company’s thirty-year history. The resulting improvements in productivity have increased capacity through greater efficiencies and improved the company’s competitiveness. In addition to the new manufacturing facility, North River Boats has increased its production capacity by adding a second production shift. North River Boats has further increased capacity and productivity by implementing Lean Manufacturing and by investing in state-of-the-art new welding equipment and a new router table. These initiatives and investments have made North River Boats a leaner and more efficient company with sufficient capacity to easily absorb the additional production required for our potential growth in this market. North River Boats is also well positioned from a financial standpoint. The company is profitable and growing. North River Boats is privately owned by its CEO, Brent Hutchings, and has an extremely conservative financial structure.
